Literature Text

To ashes all my wishes burned,
My future in a white fog lost.
Motherland, to what have you turned?
Why have you given up the ghost?

Your brave children forever left,
Your fairytales infinitely forgotten,
From all your treasures there is nothing left!
Who is guilty of this horror, in which you have gotten?

If I answer it won’t any sense make,
As there are many who bare the guilt!
Naming them here only time will take,
As there is nothing to rebuild!

I tried to calm myself for many years,
My Motherland, only for you.
Alas, I cannot hold my tears,
While I see the torture done to you.

For hope hopelessly I searched,
But it is late, a mountain became a hollow.
Despair in my heart surged,
Burning it with flames of sorrow.

I want to be thankful for all that I have,
But the bitter truth blazes in my eyes.
For politics, or writing the mood I don’t have,
The only thing left is a dark demise.
This is one of my saddest poems...
