Just Games

My pen is my ace; my knowledge is my king,

My love is my queen; my voice is my jack,

But what is the use, if luck I lack.

My look is my rook; my soul is my knight.

Alas, they will never see the light,

Because I am just a mere pawn,

And I know I will never see the dawn!

The games of life are unfair,

They drag me into despair,

Because rules no one spare,

Try to rise against them, if you dare!
