There was one time when I was a kid
I hid in the circus at the age of six
Because all I remember is him following me around
A creepy clown with an upside-down frown

To say the least; this clown was not funny
It's more amusing watching bees make honey
With his stupid flower; he squirted my eyes
He made a little boy sad; oh God why?

With his big shoes; he invaded my bubble
I swear this clown was nothing but trouble
He failed at making those animal balloons
He wrapped himself up; what a buffoon!

Watching him juggle was really a bore
He dropped all the balls right on the floor
Then on his unicycle he kept spinning around
And circling

My Soft and Tolerant EyesMy eyes see all in you that there is to see
My eyes call to you, one of the World's free
My eyes love everything, every little imperfection
My eyes show all there is to show, all of my affection.

My eyes coat the worst in honey, the best in shining light
My eyes see past the petty wrongs, setting them aright
My eyes do not discriminate, they tolerate everyone
My eyes see the darkest darkness as bathed in the sun.

My eyes, so soft and tolerant; my oh-so beautiful eyes
Show only the truth; my eyes have no need for disguise
My eyes speak for me, they send out my love
Taking you and I upon the wings of a dove.

Last nightLast night--suicide.
This morning--blow-drying hair.
Yesterday, I failed.

MasksArrayed on the wall,
On a shelf like books,
With so many types,
And so many looks.

What guards our hearts?
Its keeping us sane.
What guards our minds?
On the faces lain.

That little grin I wear?
It's so very fake.
That little smile I show?
I will never wake.

I stare at the shelf,
With my naked gaze.
Yet another day,
Yet another face.

Now then, I wonder,
Which one shall I choose?
In this game of life,
Will I ever lose?

Timekeeper Tick. Tock.

He walks with a watch
A diamond clock in one hand
Strapped by a golden chain
The timekeeper man

Stars pause in their flicker
As he walks beneath the night
And houses remain still
With their windows and their light

His soft boots walk
Along the neverending path
The shadows are merely stilled
Frozen by their wrath

He is the only one alive
The only one about
In this timeless city
A city of dull doubt

The chime of the bell
Falls suspended in the air
Not a creature, not a sound
But save the aged heir

He walks with a watch

lament for songs forgotten
music that has the ability
to open the doors to your soul
with skeleton keys
rusted and forlorn
seeking to find
where your past treasures lie
unwanted under dust
made by time
I would lend you my ears
an audio sensory map
to take you home
and help you remember
how to make your heart smile

Motion of ThoughtAway from the sounds
of human ways
their bustling cities
and noisy cars

Away from the sounds
of sighs from a world
bespoken from the mouth
of a wise man unheard

Away to a place of
momentous meaning
ridges atop mountains
draped in grey
silence amongst clouds
where the motion
of thought
can be heard

Bitter TruthIf we are bound to meet one day,
I know the songs that I shall sing,
Even if you ignore me and go away,
An eternal smile on my face you will bring.
The truth is very hard to face,
But I cannot believe in lies!
From my heart you I must erase.
It is impossible! What a surprise!
The winds of the night to her me rush,
You are in my destiny they say.
Even though you are my crush,
To see you once there is no way.
To wander mindlessly I agreed,
To find you is my mission,
I know, it is a worthless deed,
But I am driven by ambition.

Our StoriesWhat happened then in past?
They tell us, they depict,
But they do not know the truth, alas.
No one all moments from the archive picked.
Every person dead or alive has a story to tell:
Some of us left a few words, that time erased,
Some left monuments that we know well.
Since we’ve opened our eyes we’ve challenges faced.
I also like most will be forgotten,
But I left my writings behind,
After many years they will seem old and rotten,
They will be found when memories are in rewind.

Identity CrisisMy writings are scattered all over the place,
They cannot regain their former grace.
What happened to me? Did I lose my belief?
I am I already an autumn leaf?
Where is my muse? I need to find her!
Without this girl I cannot be a poet or a writer.
Who will I become then? I do not know!
Maybe the death wind away will me blow!

Once more I experience the identity crisis,
No one knows when it disappears or rises,
I try to find a new path by following the old,
Am I in search of love and in search of gold.

What is my aim now, since she is no more?

Chains Of RealityDon’t you wish to just rewind the past
And live a life from the start at last?
Wishes like that never come true
And there is nothing you can do.

You do not understand how the World looks.
You try to comprehend it through books,
Though reality sometimes is not what you desire
And you become the greatest liar!

You break chains with your pen,
And get out of the darkest den,
You discover a brand new place,
Where happiness and peace will us embrace.

Alas, it is all a dream, you are still trapped,
In cold metal you are wrapped.
You cannot face it, it is too sad,
And if you do, it will drive you mad.

A Lesson From The HeartI drowned in obscurity, but at least I wrote,
From many people guidance I sought,
But now I do not make any sense at all.
Read and witness my greatest fall.
My pen is forgotten by everyone around,
I decided to bury it under the ground.
I cannot heal this deadly wound,
My writings will never be found!

Heart:
You cannot write without your muse,
To understand this you refuse.
She guided you through the longest path,
But you stopped without fear of the aftermath.

You pay the price for ripping me out!
You pay the price for silencing my shout!
You do not comply with the rules of love.
You do not listen to the heavens above.

Never again the World will at you smile,
And even if it does, it will take a while!

Broken PromiseI was blinded by the brightest light,
I made a promise until the end to fight!
Alas, many promises suddenly break,
Maybe they are weak or maybe they are fake.

You slowly died inside my heart,
Inspiration is rare since you are gone,
Everything had ended before it could start.
Once again I am in pure darkness alone.

You dissolved into butterflies
And now I feel how time flies.
I wish to lose its track once more,
I want to love like before.

Alas, nothing will be the same,
Only I am here to blame,
I put out the sacred flame!
I live in obscurity, you live in fame.

Free From LoveI cannot tell if my feelings were real or fake,
But in darkest nights they kept me awake,
“Leave me alone, for heaven’s sake”,
I begged, not knowing what was at stake.

Reality is something that changes a heart,
Even if the love inside me was strong
Time comes and it has to fall apart,
You know that nothing with this wrong.

You held me captive with your beauty,
But now I am free from this curse,
And from life’s hardest duties,
Things won’t get from bad to worse.

More than a year lasted this story,
I penned it down almost every day,
But now about you I don’t even worry,
To you I have nothing to say.

MistakeI forgot her and emptiness came back,
My life it once again painted black!
Like a dead butterfly by winds I’m blown,
I'm on the same path, but I’m alone.

She used to be my magic spark,
Alas, she’s gone and now it’s dark.
She guided me through toughest times,
When I was not worth a few dimes.

Yes, she was an just an image in my heart,
The real her I knew I would not meet,
So I broke my dreams apart
And stopped my heart’s ferocious beat.
Do not decline the gift from god above,
Do not decline the sacred love!
It is not a curse! Do not make my mistake,
You do not know what is at stake.

In a World where our dreams come true,

It is a place for me and you,

But one thing is for sure,

It is in our minds and we cannot find a cure.

We have something called imagination,

“If” is a word of its creation!

We see, we feel the land that we desire,

But it is not real: our minds are liars.

Maybe, my love, one day we’ll meet,

If on the same path stand our feet.

Destiny all reasons can abide,

From it no mortal being can hide!

Again my soul sings songs from far away,

I feel that I won’t see the day,

Which I awaited for this long,

To bear this pain I am not strong.
