Fading Image

I know you came from heaven,

But turned my heart to hell,

And I know you never loved me,

Trust me I can tell.

I am trying to get over you,

I am trying to do my best.

And bit by bit love is dying,

I can give everything a rest.

I am writing one last poem,

And the poem is for you,

Because no matter where life’s going,

I will always remember you…

From the start of happy times,

You were my favorite muse,

You helped me with my rhymes,

But, alas, you are slowly fading,

Your imagine is almost gone,

I am sorry, but I am tired of waiting,

I would rather be alone.
